Takiron FMHS 6650 – Transparent PVC Sheet with Heat Resistance and FM 4910 Fire Rating
Product Overview
Takiron FMHS 6650 is a premium transparent C-PVC sheet manufactured by C.I. Takiron (Japan), certified to FM 4910 (FM-listed) and UL 94 V-0 standards. It is an ideal material for applications in cleanroom environments, semiconductor and FPD manufacturing, and equipment requiring high levels of fire safety and smoke control.
Key Features
Excellent fire resistance:
Complies with FM 4910 and UL 94 V-0 standards, preventing flame propagation and minimizing hazardous smoke emissions in case of fire.
High heat & chemical resistance:
Maintains structural integrity under heat load up to 85°C and softens at approximately 94°C; offers high mechanical strength and strong resistance to acids, alkalis, and corrosive chemicals.
High transparency:
Light transmission up to ~71% (at 5 mm thickness), suitable for see-through applications such as cleanroom machinery and optical equipment.
Stable mechanical properties:
Density ~1.46, tensile strength 74 MPa, flexural modulus 3,300 MPa, Charpy impact strength ~1.6 kJ/m² (notched).
RoHS & REACH compliant:
Lead-free PVC material, environmentally friendly.
